          Description

          The G440 driver family (MAX, LST, SFT) is optimised to deliver more ball speed through multiple advancements, including PING’s deepest CG in a driver to date and a shallower, thinner face, while continuing to ensure the game-changing forgiveness expected from a PING driver.

          Each model is designed to fit a specific player type, with each head profile engineered to provide launch conditions to best match their swing. The overall system weight is lighter by 10 grams and the standard shaft length is ¼" longer than previous models to help golfers swing faster for higher-launching, longer drives with a pleasing, slightly muted sound.

          Weight removed from a section of the hosel is re-allocated to help push mass lower to create PING’s deepest centre of gravity in a driver to date, aligning it closer to the force line for faster ball speed, optimal spin and higher launch for longer and straighter drives.

          A lower face height allows us to make the face both thinner and hotter for more ball speed and consistency across the clubface, including the high heel region. Common to all three models (MAX, LST, SFT), the CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight, which is re-allocated to help lower the CG, ensure forgiveness and contribute to a more muted, pleasing sound at impact

          A 29-gram back weight in the MAX and LST models ensures forgiveness and can be adjusted into draw, fade or neutral position to influence shot shape and trajectory. The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.) to further dial in ball flight for the best results.

          G440 SFT (Straight Flight) is best suited to golfers combating slice tendencies, with two positions (draw and draw+) and adjustable 23g back weight. G440 HL is ideal for slower swing speed golfers who don’t generate sufficient clubhead speed and ball velocity from traditionally weighted clubs. Utilising lighter components, the overall weight of the clubs are reduced so golfers can swing faster, generating more ball speed for higher launch and enhanced carry distance.
